GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids-based Prospectors Cold Brew Coffee is launching a new line of ready-to-drink, dairy-free lattes this month. Starting in August, three flavors of Prospectors’ new organic, plant-based, low-calorie lattes will be available exclusively at Meijer stores across the Midwest.

Prospectors new ready-to-drink lattes will be available in three flavors:
- Café Miel: Honey, cinnamon and almond milk blended with Prospectors fresh, handmade cold-brew coffee
- Raspberry Hazelnut: Sweet raspberries, hazelnut milk and Prospectors fresh, handmade cold-brew (vegan)
- Mocha Cashew: Blissful blend of chocolate, cashew milk and Prospectors fresh, handmade cold brew (vegan)
In 2017, nationwide sales of cold brew coffee hit $38.1 million – a jump of 370 percent since analysts began tracking the industry in 2015, according to Statista. When it comes to coffee, consumers are looking for premium, specialized, high-quality coffee products, particularly in single-use servings, viewing them as an “affordable luxury,” according to a 2017 IBISWorld report.

The Prospectors team steeps the locally-sourced coffee for 16 hours before filtering its system.
